Gang Awareness: Growing gang threat in Las Vegas
In an April nationwide sweep of gang members, nearly 1,000 gang members and associates, including 22 people from the Las Vegas area, were arrested. The sweep was part of a federal investigation targeting transnational criminal behavior.
Officers from Las Vegas Metro will discuss “Gang Awareness: Growing Gang Threat in Las Vegas” Saturday, July 18, from 1-2 p.m. as part of The Mob Museum and LVMPD partnership program, Community Safety Forum.

This program is part of a joint Mob Museum-Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department partnership, sponsored by NV Energy, presenting a series of Monthly Community Safety Forums Saturdays through 2015.
