Joe Bonpensiero, author of “Niputi … the Nephew” will sign copies of his book Saturday, July 25, 1-5 p.m. in the Museum’s retail store. As the nephew, or niputi, of the infamous Frank Bonpensiero, Joe Bonpensiero grew up under the shadow of the Mob. And even though Joe’s father, Sammy, had steered clear of his brother Frank’s underhand dealings and violent inclinations, the whole family was considered tainted by association.
