Community Safety Forum: Drug/Substance Abuse—Opioid Crisis
Each month, The Mob Museum partners with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and other local agencies to host Community Safety Forums – free public programs focused on pertinent issues that affect Southern Nevada.
In October, the Museum will host the Community Safety Forum program on Drug/Substance Abuse—Opioid Crisis.
Get a better insight regarding the national opioid crisis. For National Substance Abuse Awareness Month, this forum will offer an overview of the opioid situation nationally and in Nevada. Find out the signs and symptoms of someone using opioids from a panel of experts. In addition, the presentation will educate on existing resources if you or a loved one have a problem. Click here for some helpful resources.
This month we will have speakers from the Attorney General’s office, Southern Nevada Health District and PACT.
Registration is required.
Free Admission to The Mob Museum following the event to guests attending Community Safety Forums sponsored by NV Energy. Also thanks to NV Energy’s generous support, The Mob Museum will provide live streaming of the presentations on our website.
This monthly program is part of a joint Mob Museum-Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department partnership, sponsored by NV Energy, presenting a series of Monthly Community Safety Forums Sundays.
