Community Safety Forum: Counterterrorism
Each month, The Mob Museum partners with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and other local agencies to host Community Safety Forums – free public programs focused on pertinent issues that affect Southern Nevada.
In February, the Museum will host the Community Safety Forum program on Counterterrorism.
“See Something, Say Something,” The Mob Museum’s February Community Safety Forum will address this expression in detail. The presentation will be conducted by an officer from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and will discuss the functions of the Counterterrorism Detail and the Fusion Center, including how they collect intelligence, work in concert with other agencies to prevent terrorist acts, and what ways the community can help.
This program is free, but registration is required.
