Community Safety Forum: Tax Fraud Prevention with IRS-CI
Each month, The Mob Museum partners with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and other local agencies to host Community Safety Forums – free public programs focused on pertinent issues that affect Southern Nevada.
In April, the Museum will host the Community Safety Forum program on Tax Fraud Prevention with IRS-CI.
An investigator from the IRS Criminal Investigation Division will focus this month’s Community Safety Form on identity theft and fraud. Get tips to protect yourself and gain insights into what you should do if your identity is stolen. By attending this presentation, you will find out who to report it to, how to restore credit and how to avoid improper criminal charges.
This program is free, but registration is required.
