A successful business owner, consultant and public speaking coach, Amy Ayoub is a lifelong Las Vegan who combined her passions for public speaking and helping others to found The Zen Speaker, a public speaking coaching company. Combining her strength as a public speaker with an entrepreneurial spirit, Amy began helping clients on their journey to share their stories, find peace behind the podium, and move audiences to action. Ayoub has been appointed by various Nevada governors and senators to four state and federal commissions. She was the first female appointed to the Nevada Athletic Commission, better known as the boxing commission; she sat on the federal Commission to Eliminate Child Abuse and Neglect Fatalities; and she currently serves on the Nevada Coalition to Prevent Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children. In February 2013, she testified before the Nevada Assembly and Senate Judiciary Committees, using her inspiring survivor story in support of Assembly Bill 67, which increased penalties for those convicted of sex trafficking. Ayoub was honored as a 2016 Distinguished Nevadan by the Board of Regents at UNLV. Her life story prompted Culture Dog Films to create a documentary, The Zen Speaker: Breaking the Silence, that is resonating with advocates, victims, and anyone interested in turning their personal adversity into personal triumph.

Barbara Buckley is executive director of Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, a nonprofit corporation that provides free legal advice, representation and advocacy for individuals who cannot afford a lawyer. Buckley has spent her entire legal career with Legal Aid Center, beginning as a staff attorney in 1989. After handling individual cases and major class actions, she became executive director of Legal Aid Center in 1996. Buckley also served as speaker of the Nevada Assembly from 2007 through 2010, the first woman in the state’s history to hold this position. From 2001 to 2007, she served as majority leader of the Nevada Assembly. She began her legislative service upon her election in 1994, after testifying before the Legislature on behalf of legal aid clients. Buckley received her law degree summa cum laude from the University of Arizona School of Law and her bachelor’s degree from UNLV.

Elynne Greene has been working in the field of victim services since 1974, beginning as a volunteer in a Rape Crisis Center. She is currently manager of Victim Services and Human Trafficking at the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and manager of the Southern Nevada Human Trafficking Task Force. She serves on the Governor’s CSEC Council, co-chairs the Care Coordination Subcommittee, and serves on the Nevada Attorney General’s Committee on Domestic Violence. Greene also is a member of the Responders Support Team in Clark County and serves on the Survivors & Providers Stakeholders' Forum of the National Mass Violence and Victimization Resource Center. Greene holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in creative arts and expressive therapies, and a master’s degree in education in special education. She was a clinical therapist for more than 16 years. Greene is a founding member of the Victim Assistance Academy of Nevada and currently chairs the Curriculum Committee.

Robin Greenspun has had a varied and diverse career in media including television, film and advertising for more than 40 years. For the past seven years, Greenspun has been producing and directing documentary films including Semicolon: The Adventures of Ostomy Girl and her current film, The Zen Speaker: Breaking the Silence. A longtime advocate for the arts, Greenspun was a founding board member of the Discovery Children’s Museum and served on the Kennedy Center President’s Advisory Committee on the Arts. She served as a member of the Nevada Arts Council for eight years. She is currently a member of the board of the Beverly Rogers, Carol C. Harter Black Mountain Institute. Greenspun received the 2016 Nevada Woman Filmmaker of the Year award from the Nevada Women’s Film Festival. Greenspun attended San Diego State University and has a degree in communication studies from UNLV.  

  Dr. Halleh (Ha-lay) Seddighzadeh (Sah-dig-zah-day) is an international counter-trafficking expert and forensic traumatologist specializing in the psychological treatment of torture, complex traumatic stress and dissociative conditions. With a focus on victims of coercive, predatory trauma, including survivors of sex and labor trafficking, war, terrorism, gender-based violence, and youth who are vulnerable to indoctrination by violent extremist groups or cults, she takes a holistic, evidence-based approach to healing. She is a consultant and adviser to corporations, government agencies, law enforcement agencies, tribal governments, medical practitioners and social service providers. Through her social impact consultancy, New Paradigm Labs, Dr. Halleh has created comprehensive anti-trafficking programs for the corporate sector through technology-driven programs and protocols to combat sex and labor trafficking. She also is the founder of ARMAN, a clinical and research center supported by a network of international trauma experts, researchers and practitioners.
