When you think of Prohibition-era organized crime in Chicago, the first name that comes to mind is Al Capone. But an array of Irish-American mobsters maintained high profiles in the Windy City’s underworld at that time as well. In the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day, The Mob Museum’s Geoff Schumacher and Claire White will share stories about Chicago’s most notorious and violent gangsters not named Capone.
Meanwhile, in The Underground speakeasy and distillery, festive specials will be available all day in honor of St. Patrick’s Day.
St Patrick’s Day Drink Specials (available in The Underground speakeasy)*
- $10 Pint of Guinness and a Shot of Kilbeggan Irish Whisky
- $8 Irish Coffees
- $5 green Ginger Jake shots—made with The Mob Museum’s ginger-infused, house-distilled moonshine
- $5 green draft beer (also available at Museum concessions on second floor)
