As Las Vegas expands into the surrounding foothills, encounters with wild animals are more likely. The area boasts an abundance of species, including coyotes, mountain lions, hawks and snakes. Lauren Macleod, urban wildlife coordinator of the Nevada Department of Wildlife, will discuss how to avoid wildlife conflicts and keep your pets safe.

This program will be held in-person. The speaker will be joining virtually.

Each month, The Mob Museum partners with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and other local agencies to host Community Safety Forums – free public programs focused on pertinent issues that affect Southern Nevada. Thanks to NV Energy, pre-registered guests are given free admission to the Museum following the event. The Mob Museum will also provide a recording of this presentation on its website.
