Community Safety Forum: Juvenile Delinquency Prevention
Presented in partnership with the Clark County Law Foundation, this program will focus on alternative programs for juvenile offenders. Patrick Montejano, program director for the Clark County Law Foundation, will discuss ways in which young people can take advantage of several programs, including Trial By Peers and the Let Freedom Ring project. Trial By Peers is an innovative program used as an alternative for first-time and some second-time juvenile offenders. Let Freedom Ring provides community service projects throughout Southern Nevada that are integrated with law-related education.
